It has been quite some time since I have last updated in this particular blog. To be completely honest, I'm not very good with blogs, I'm more of a diary type girl. Nonetheless, typing is a little bit easier than constantly always using pen and paper.
I am currently a server at Dave and Buster's in Frisco, TX. Last night I worked for a wedding that took place in the show room downstairs. Yes, a wedding at D&B's. It completely crashed all my wedding hopes and dreams. The center pieces for the tables were glass bowls filled with legos.....yes, you heard me, legos. Not the traditional wedding. It was very interesting. This just proved me to ONCE again that everyone is different and the simple things are what matter to people.
This past Thursday (it is Monday now) I returned to Texas from a very fun-filled week in Las Vegas with my mother. I had the most exciting time. I went to the Glee Live Tour Rehearsal, as well as the actual concert the next night. I also went to the Billboard Awards Show Rehearsal Performances, as well as the actual award show that night. I was surrounded by many artists and actors that I admire greatly. It will be an experience that I will never forget. It seems like that week flew by, and now I am back in my small apartment in Denton anxiously awaiting my next move.
Come December I will be leaving Texas, hopefully for good. I have no intentions of moving back but then again you never know what the future holds. Starting June 20th I will begin hip hop and modern/contemporary dance classes. I am very excited.
I begin student teaching full time in the Fall. I will be living with the Glick family while I finish my last semester of college, and then comes graduation in December.
Good things to come, I just have to be patient. That is going to be my most difficult challenge.
Ps. I also want a feather in my hair.
