Yesterday, my family and I headed down to Louisiana to celebrate Easter with some of my Dad's side of the family. It was such a beautiful day. There were about 75 people there for Dinner, my Aunt was an excellent host. A few of us ended up visiting my Uncle Kevin's grave before we all went our separate ways. We all said a prayer, tears were shed, and hugs were passed around. It blows my mind how such a sad event can bring everyone closely together. Kevin's life should be celebrated, and he is now in a much better place than us, he is the presence of God. How incredible that must be. It saddens my heart because I don't know if some of my family members are believers. I pray that they are.
Today, I left Tyler to head back here to Denton. An hour within leaving, my mom called to tell me that my Nana was being rushed to the ER. She fell and broke her leg. Right now she is actually in surgery. I am praying for a quick recovery. Breaks my heart and it scares me.
