Moving

I am moving to California on April 25th. One week and one day. I will be making the journey out west alone. Some are nervous about that, of course in a sense I am as well, but I'm more excited. I will have complete freedom and will solely be depending on myself. I'm sure the long drive a head of me will bring me much doubt, it may even become my best friend while on the road. I will not let it stay. Thinking about the negative things can hurt you. For me, when I have doubt it's a chance to remember that anything is possible and with practicing patience while pursuing excellence you have a chance, an opportunity. I firmly believe everything happens for a reason, I am following my heart, while listening to my head (logic) and hoping for the very best. I have a purpose, and God created ME just the way I am for a reason.

Nicholas Sparks

My interest of book genres can stretch pretty far. I will state that I'm not much of a science fiction fan, or nonfiction for that matter. My mind just does not wrap around it easily and it is hard for my imagination to blossom with things that bore me to tears. I will be a typical lady for a moment and say that I love Nicholas Sparks. There I said it. I am one of "those" girls who cries during The Notebook or The Last Song or Dear John. I'm currently reading his book "The Wedding", this book in particular has been difficult for me to get into. It has its moments but it is definitely not a page turner. Nonetheless, I enjoy reading. I wish I had an hour everyday to devote to reading, some days I have an hour or more to share but not everyday. Reading is good for the mind, heart and soul. I feel like creativity stirring away inside when I read.

I'm awful

I'm terrible with updating in my blog. I prefer writing in my 2 journals that I have. If I could figure out how to load videos on this thing I would add a song of the day a couple times a week. I love, love, LOVE music therefore I would like to share songs that motivate me and encourage me. Music is beautiful. Music is inspirational. Music is art, everyone is apart of this art because in some way, shape or form music is expressed in everyone's life.
